They know Courchevel in winter: where the view opens up, when the light turns warm on the peaks, which terraces are worth stopping at. They carry their gear on their back and keep pace with you and the children. And you talk to yours directly on WhatsApp before the session.
You are not looking for a photo session. You want to keep the week the way you lived it: the children's first red run, lunch on a sunny terrace, the evening by the fire at the chalet. Your Courchevel photographer has already scouted the spots, knows which run has the best view and when the light turns gold on the peaks. Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
Each village has its own feel and its own backdrops. We choose the spot with you, depending on the session, the weather and the time of day.
Yes. Every photo you receive is individually retouched: colour grading, exposure, skin retouching, scene clean-up. You receive the final image, ready to frame.
A first selection of 5 to 8 images within 48 hours, usually before the end of your stay. Your full edited gallery within 7 days. Weddings and multi-day programmes are delivered within 14 days.
1 hour: 30 photos · 2 hours: 60 photos · Half-day: 120 photos · Full day: 250 photos · Weekend: 500+ photos. All high resolution, retouched, with a private download link that does not expire.
No. Your photographer adapts to your level and the children's, and picks easy runs with a great view. A session can also take place on foot, in the village, on a mountain terrace or at your chalet.
We watch the forecast with you in the days before the session. Rescheduling is free if you ask more than 72 hours ahead. Within 72 hours, 10% of the price is due. Falling snow often makes for beautiful photos, so we decide together.
Fully private. Your gallery is password protected. We never publish any image without your written consent. NDAs are available on request.
Yes. Méribel and Val Thorens are connected to Courchevel on skis, so your photographer can follow you from one valley to the next over a full day. For other resorts, travel costs are included in your quote.
From 590 € for a 1-hour session to 2,970 € for a full weekend: 790 € for 2 hours, 1,290 € for a half-day, 1,970 € for a full day. All taxes included. For sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass is added to the quote at the public price.
All five villages: Courchevel 1850, Courchevel Moriond, Courchevel Village, Courchevel Le Praz and La Tania, on the slopes as well as in the village, at your hotel or chalet.
As early as possible. These are the busiest weeks of the season and the number of ski-fluent photographers is limited. Message us on WhatsApp as soon as your dates are set.
Yes. Riva works with wedding photographers for intimate mountain weddings and elopements: a ceremony at the chalet, at altitude or in the village. Your photographer delivers a fully retouched editorial gallery within 14 days.
Yes. More than 14 days before the session, your deposit is refunded. Between 14 days and 72 hours before, 25% of the price is due, and within 72 hours, the full price. For the weather, see the question above.
